It's not competive or athletic, and doesn't require skill, but at least the scoring's objective.

please do a better job of labeling your hyperlinks. "kittencannon game" would be more appropriate of a description. "is this a sport?" is marginally better than JT's fabulous "linky link." 
but to answer your question, no. and it's completely unoriginal.

Dragonlady8, I think it was about the same for my 1500. The 2200 came after about 20 tries and a few ones less than 100 feet.
LakeIolaLuke, I think that was surfer as I didnt get passed the second level.

my highest score has been 1705 now. i found a similar game once, but it involved a penguin.
