Hey,
I was wondering if there is anything to do that I can do that is similar to wakeboarding until I can get out to the Lake this summer. I don't have a tramp. Snow is Gone. I think that I might try to tape my old skateboard shoes to my skateboard and have my freind pull me behind his bike. I am desparate to do anything similar to wakeboarding . Any Ideas?

DangerousDave, haha you shouldnt ask me for ideas, Ill get you in a body cast.
Ive done the skateboard and bike thing before. Pretty fun, but not good enough. I jazzed it up by using a bungee cord as the tow line . Very fun in the turns. Not very fun for the biker when you let go. |

Don't tape the shoes to the deck. If you fall or catch a rock you are in for a world of hurt. Just ride on it like normal. And yeah, get a longboard or a freebord. www.freebord.com _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Personally, I'm a huge fan of rockin' the Indo Board. Not sure how much it transfer to a wakeboard but it can't do anything but help. I can ride that thing for hours in the winter. _________________

definitely say buy yourself a trampoline bro. best investment towards getting better in your "off season." you can find a pretty nice one from jumpsport for like 300 bucks too.

Ya i would definetly buy a tramp. I tried the skateboard and the shoes didn't help much but they did hurt alot. I only got about 5 bruises and scars though. I am tryin again without the bindings. Thanks for the ideas

| I might have to grab a free bord, ever since I came down to Florida for school I've missed snowboarding, a free bord would solve that problem! |

| lowcashfireman, tape your skate shoes to a skate deck, tie a wakeboarding rope to a tree, or fencepost, then practice flips, spins and anything else you want to work on, on the tramp |
