What kind of cammera?

So my pearents are thinking about getting me a cammera, which will be used a large ammount of the time for taking wakeboarding pictures. With there being such a large slection to choose from and barely knowing where to start and what is really needed i thought i would come here and ask. So what kind of cammera would i be looking at and roughly how much will this set me back? Thanks alot

how much are you looking to spend on it? that makes a huge difference

I suggest the Canon Rebel XTi with a Canon 75-300mm lens. It's a mid-level camera but will take some great pictures.
