Yes, it should start with a major mexi-style backroll. Similar to an early/handle passed hs roll to blind. You don't want all the line tension.

i do/try mine as a regular backroll pushin really hard off the top of the wake and then yanking the rope to my back hip with both hands letting go with my back hand to handlepass then spot the water.and as soon as i do that, i look imediately for the back of the boat which will square you up to it thus helpin u land, good luck and post some vids of ur attempts and ones u stick
