JBT, that kicker would be fun to hit on a wakeskate, im getting my boaters license in a month and i want to build a little kicker or slier cause i cant make any big ones cause i ride in the intercoastal which is highly patroled and they wouldnt notice soemthng liek that. how did you build that, i wanna make one jsut a little bigger. _________________ set your goals high, you'll always have somethign to strive for. |

here is the slider we built. we made it sit on the bottom so we can move it to adjust the height of it when the water level fluctuates. we didn't want a floater so it could be more solid. |

TIMMY- do you anchor that down any way or just put it down just how it is?? that is a really good idea and kind of what I have been lookin at doing. |

If I biuld a slider im afriad that when i hit it it will sink. Im about 170lbs. Some wood on the bootom of a peice a rail wont hold me up will it? _________________ If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because,

by the way, Timmy, your slider looks almost exactly like the one that we just built last week. Great minds think alike, I guess. We had the same idea about having it sit on the bottom so we could move it to adjust the height. Now if we could just get all the damn busybodies on the lake to stop crawling all over it so we could actually use it we'd be all set! |

it works really well. hardest part is deciding who goes in the water to move it because being close to the weeds, we are scared of gators. haha.
the thing is really, really heavy too. i guess 400 lb. those 20' long 6" pvc tubes are a large part of that too.
essentially what we did is make it in pieces. the 3 supports were assembled ahead of time, the piece right underneath the pipes was put together and the cross braces were sized. the tubes were already at the lake from an old slider that had fallen apart (and we went and salvaged them from the bottom of the lake)
all of the wood other than the cross braces is 2X4. the supports are 3 wide, with the middle piece a little shorter than the sides so we could slide the long piece under the tube right in there during assembly. we drilled holes in the bottom of the PVC and then used a bunch of toggle bolts to secure them. this way is a little more costly but it went together REALLY fast and there are no holes or exposed hardware. we got a bunch of the wood from a dumpster at a fence company and then got the rest at lowes. |

dude, to be honest, who gives a stuff if they're photoshopped or not, i mean im here to see the ramps and sliders, i could pretty much give 2 shits about the rest. So you photoshoppers ya know who ya are, have fun. You guys who aren't, bet thats shitty when evereyone thinks your stuff's fake. So give the people a break, these guys know when they're faker then pam andersons tits and the people who arent fakin took alotta time on those scanners to put their pics on for us. So just lay off mang! _________________ B-Dog of the BUDDHA BOYS
