Little strips of some type of material (not exactly sure...)
But they are used to take the beating when you use the board on sliders, and help preserve the board and prolong its life essentially. They can be removed at anytime for when your not out hitting sliders... _________________ Wake Forest University |

| I have a premier and I think that the jib ribs are awesome. I go to OWC and hit the sliders fairly often and you can definately tell that they are taking the beating rather than the board. If you are going to hit sliders and want to buy a Premier then you should do it |

k i've seen jib ribs in the store and whatnot but any idea what they're actually made of...they're just a plastic right? can't say i hit rails with my byerly but it's a solid idea for something replacable to take the abuse from the rails. _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

| brath5, yea there just plastic rails. Theres one down each side of the board and they sit about 1/2'' above the board itself. There just held in with wood screws that can be removed whenever but personally i never used them. |

| It's just like the old rails you used to put on your skate board. |
