| I'm getting "could not connect to server" messages about every 3rd click. Couldn't get on for half the day w/i the last couple of days. Anyone else? |

Yep. It was actually my server once. But I don't know what the deal is now.
I emailed Ed about the problem, but never heard back from him.

So JT does that mean that I don't like 1/2 myself?
There were some netwrok issues the other night and I think they ran on and off for a few hours after that. They did a powersuppy upgrade and it went bad. So the hosting company lost service to some of our boxes.
DrangonLady I did email you during all the problems but maybe that did not make it out.
When you are having problems what is the exact message you are getting? Could not connect to the database? Or too many connections? which error is it?
I put in some code to stop the googlebot from taking all the sessions on PHPBB so I thought we took those down to a minimum.

We did have some problems with the database getting overloaded the other day. I was doing some SQL stuff on the database and I guess it just could not handle my request.. I have since decided to ask the database another way..
