I have last years Sony Marine deck which has 3 sets of RCA's. The first 2 sets are for front/rears/sub and the third is an AUX in. I have a 5 channel amp with the left 2 rears on 1 channel the right 2 rears on the 2nd channel. The 3rd and 4th channel are left and right tower speakers and the 5th channel is the sub. I also have the front bow speakers running off of the deck hooked up as fronts. With only 2 sets of RCA's how the heck is the deck supposed to connect with 5 different channels. The only thing I can think of is to drop the deck and get a better non marine that supports all of the required pre outs.
I had to rewire everything in my boat because the so called professional completely botched the whole thing and I couldn't even relocate the amp 5" in a different way...thanks for leaving me some slack jackass.
T2Ride, get a y-adapter (or "splitter") for those RCA's.
I suggest that you run the interior off the "Front" channel and the tower off the "Rear" channel. This will afford you some control over the volume differential (so your passengers don't go deaf!).
Oh, and you will be hard pressed to find a deck that has 5 sets of preouts. Most you will see is front/rear/sub (so, 3 outputs). If you want that much control, you will need an DSP/EQ or crossover that can be dash mounted. That can get complex and pricey and I don't recommend it on a boat. _________________
