Guys-
When MC sold out to Pouschine Cook Capital Management in 2000 what major changes did we see in the following 24 months? I ask because Pouschine Cook Capital Management just aquired part of Crownline Boats. Did the MC's see a jump in price, change in construction, lack of attention to detail? I know many of you have been around the industry for 10 years plus and was curious to what we might expect to see with Crownline for the next 5 years to come.
In my opinion:
we saw an expansion of the X-Series
a downturn in quality
big price increase
I may be way wrong, but these are just my opininons.
any input? |

Yeah, but the problem that you're gonna run into is that not all of those can be attributed to the new owners. The expansion of the X Series and price increase happened across the board beginning around that time, and I think it was because of the growth in the industry rather than the change in ownership.
Look at the changes that Malibu and CC made around that time as well. It may give you an idea as to whether or not MC was following the latest trends or if they were the ones setting them. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

I would expect good things from it. MC quality went up under this group, most of the negativity around MC quality resulted from the Colman Companies investment. _________________ www.midwestmastercraft.com
