O'Brien:going out of business?

I was in Key Largo not too long ago and a local pro told me that O'Brien was going out of buisness along with Liquid Force. Please set me straight.
It would be sad for O'Brien to succumb to the monopoly of Hyperlite.

this happened a few months ago. they shortly went out of business, then they both were bought by Earth and Ocean and now they are both back in business.

btw how did your "epic tube shot footie" come out?

Thats good, that would be a big loss for the wakeboarding industry.

Yeah they are in business, but not with EOS. EOS was the parent company that let them go and then they were bought by someone else.

EOS= Earth and Ocean Sports

Yeah that is a little old but hey
They have both been picked up by O&E
and as far as I can tell it has been business as usual

EOS (Earth & Ocean Sports) was the parent company for both Liquid Force and O'Brien. It let both wakeboarding companies go when it hit financial troubles. Both were out of business for a while. They were later picked up by Motion Water Sports. You can read articles in the archives of the news section both here and at WakeWorld.
