Hey, I am looking to upgrade the kicker speaker system out of my 03 TE. I'm not sure if I should mount new speakers behind the existing upholstered grills or front mount new speakers. I don't want to screw up the style of my boat by making the wrong choice. What do y'all think?

stxr racer, I would mount speaks behind the existing grills. Keep it clean looking is my motto.

also if you mount them behind the existing grills no theives will know that you have a nice pair of speakers behind those stock grills.

behind the grills for sure. front mounts look great and all but friends stab holes in speakers on accident and of course theft as stated above ^
