| I was 8...if you consider a spin a 180 then I was 11 I think, maybe 12...first 360 was 14. First invert was 15. I am (was) a slow learner |

this is my 4th year so I guess i started when I was 13. If I had a wakeboat and or went to the lake more often I'd probably have inverts down by now... _________________ Wake Forest University |

I was only 18 when I started... wish I had started much much younger.
But I've been teaching kids from ages 6 - 17 for the past 2 summers and I got this one little girl 7 years old doing 180's and surface 360's!!! she had absolutely no fear in her. |

| Started when I was thirteen, never really took the sport seriously that summer. Skipped a season when I was fourteen. Fifteen I took it very seriously, and started doing flips and spins that summer. This summer hope to do most or all of the basic inverts and spins. Plus more. |

17 had a huge ass board. But that was also 12 years ago. My god I am getting up there.
I finally could afford my own boat and gear 2.5 years ago. A little harder to learn the flips now. |

I first rode a wakeboard when I was 9, so ten years ago, But then had a traumatizing experience where a wakeboard punched a hole in my lower lip, and didn't want to ride it after that. I picked it back up when I was 17, behind a 17.5' OB searay, then my Dad bought a wakesetter in Summer 05, and that's when I really started progressing. It took me about 2-3 months to hit my first two inverts (backroll and frontroll) then got heel and toe 3's, then tannys and most recently raleys. I just recently started grabbing my tannys and 3's, and doing OHH's _________________

First rode when I was 15, and rode only one time. Took a 3 year hiatus and started riding for real in the spring of my senior year. Got wake to wake I guess my 2nd time out, and Tantrums and spins that year too. This will be my 3rd season of serious riding, but it feels like the first, it never gets old! _________________ "I just want something more than to come home in my cool looking SUV, sit in my king sized leather recliner and watch reality television on my widescreen plasma TV...How easy it is to care for someone when you dont have anything else..." |

started when i was 16 and started spins in the end of the first summer and had backrolls down by end of second summer.... now working on tantrums and have landed a few FS Slob 360's .... it just takes the commitment and practice... trampoline have helped me out alot as far as everything up to the landing.... trampolines don't simulate landing on edge... when you get that down your good bro. _________________ only love i have... is for the lake

I started two years ago at the ripe age of 26. I don't get to go out much, so I'm still working on the spins and flips. _________________ But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions -- it is by grace you have been saved.

Well I FIRST started about when wakeboarding first hit the scene. Barely did it at the time about all I ever managed was a wake jump then I pretty much didn't wakeboard again until we got our own boat in August of 05. I was 28 at the time.
Last season was my first "full" season of riding and I managed to learn all 4 frontside 180s single wake, and by the end of the season was getting some w2w 180s. I was pretty pleased with that. Now I'm 30 years old (coming up on 31 in July) and with some luck I'll manage a 360 or invert this year, we'll have to see. That's my goal anyway. |

I went 3 or 4 times when I was 15. Another 6-8 times when I was 17. Now I'm 27 and got my own boat. So I guess I could say I've been wakeboarding for 12 years, but this year I want to learn to spin! _________________
