Newbie question- Fat Sacks for a Reinell 2002 203BR

Hey guys,

I've been wakeboarding for a few years on family boats but a few weeks ago I bought my stepdads 2002 Reinell 203BR, put a tower on it and I want to finally give it a decent wake.

I'm completely green when it comes to Fat Sacks installation, recommended Weight, etc. Anyone have good advice on where I should start or at least a good source where I can get up to speed?

I have an I/O as well, and I am also new to the weighting thing. From what I've been told around here, put at least 300-500 pounds weight in the bow or the ski locker. Since we can sort of "push" the back end into the water with the power trim on an I/O, the weight should be up front first. From there, move toward the back on each side of the engine with a few hundred more pounds if you feel more weight is necessary.

Again, I'm learning too on this so if you find something that works good for you let me know. All I know right now about my setup is that I demo'ed my new boat a few weeks ago, took it down to about 20MPH, trimmed it up some, and it had a pretty damn decent wake-and that was unweighted. I had an i/o it was an 73 cobalt so only 7 feet wide. i put a 750 in the bow and 550 in the back. the wake was about knee high but i could only run around 55 feet back unless i speed up but then the wake would drop.

i will be looking to sell or trade these bags...

I usually have a crowded boat (6-8 people) so I ended up just starting off with 2 of the FlyHigh V-drive Sacs at 400 lbs each and I put both of them in the center of the boat, one up front by the bow and the other in between the seats.

So far the wake is noticeable bigger, especially noticebale at slower speeds. Like most people suggested, with the I/O you really have to put a lot of weight up front. My buddy and I have been working on the progressive edge and keeping speed as we approach the wake and were getting upwards of 7-9 feet of air. Yesterday I tried my first backroll and almost landed it!

The FlyHigh's are great and super durable, I would recommend them to anyone
