Tonight I did a quick project to mount my Sirius portable satellite radio.

I used the vehicle mounting kit. It comes with an adhesive tape base mount. I cut the base off exposing the threads on the swivel ball. I then found a suitable location close to a power source, out of most of the elements, but still at the driver's control.

Following are a few pics of the unit installed.

All that's left to do is mount the antenna. Unfortunately, that'll come after I order a new one since this one flaked out on me.

Simple project that should only take 1-2hrs after you have all the stuff.
