I'm going to try to make it up to the mountain a few more times. I'm so sad that the snowboarding season is ending though, this has been an amazing season for me, I've progressed a lot. |

even if the season is winding down, in my case its kinda just starting, but its still gonna be cold outside cold enough that i wont take the boat out. i think i should take the bikes our for a couple day trips till the lines die down at the slopes and it warms up enough to wakeboard. |

I haven't been able to schedule any trips out to any decent mountains, but we are FINALLY getting enough snow around here to make going to the little local hills worthwhile. I think we are up to 20" for the season, most in the past 7 days. A lot better than machine made ice that we normally have to ride on. |

a couple of the resort close on Tax day. So we still have some time to ride. We've gotten hit hard that last 2 weeks. Made up for our very, very dry start of 07. _________________

just went to Buena Vista in Bemiji,MN, kinda fun i guess, nothing like mountain riding, the runs were way short, and you spent more time one the lift then on the runs. _________________ 04 LF Trip 133

well im sad to say that we just got another 4-7 inches around here and its cold again. How is it possible to have 70 degree weather on wedensday and thrusday and then have snow friday and saturday. And im even sadder to say that where my lake house is they got about 12-16 inches and the lake is still frozen. Dont have a clue when first time out will be |

im heading up this weekend to Hood.
they got a bit over 5" today down on the pass, having the annual year end blowout "Suds on the Slopes" live music, beer garden, pond skimming, good times. SkiBowl (the lowest of the hood resorts at 3500 feet) will most likely only be open till early-mid april, depending on temps/precip, though they usually close even when they could still be open. be riding up top of hood for some time to come though, with meadows's fiasco they had at the beginning of the eyar, they got some making up to do, and Timberline, well, the slopes will be open ALL YEAR. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/muxpux

Looks like I won't be doing any snowboarding again till Summer. Hell yeah for Timberline, nothing like being able to go snowboarding and wakeboarding on the same day. I'm thinking about doing one of the summer snowboard camps up there this summer. |

Mike.H, That's the camp I was planning on going to. I don't know which session though, I gotta talk my parents into lending me some money to go still. |

well now snowboard season is officially over for my friend. Today we went to blue mt in pa to get some nice morning riding in the 50 degree weather. 3 runs in my friend takes a nasty fall and lands right on his shoulder. Needless to say left collar bone is broken straight in half with no displacment. Hopefully he can get his muscles working agiain in time to grab the handel and pull of some sick tricks this season. |
