I think it's time to face the sad realization that the Broncos just suck. They sucked yesterday, they suck today and they'll suck tomorrow.
How do you fire a top 3 kicker in the league over a few pennies? He won four games for us last year, and the dude is money inside of 40 yards.
The whole Marshall thing is just the rancid icing on a bitter cake.
I'm not happy, Bob! |

From another football-discussion forum:
Bengals Waive Henry
The Bengals have released wideout Chris Henry following his surrender to police after being accused of assaulting an 18-year-old boy.

...and Michigan now gets to look forward to the same kind of thugs Rich Rod brought to West Virginia (Henry, Pac-Man, Pat White, et al.).
Man, I wish RR had stayed at WV. It was only a matter of time before it became a state university/prison with he and Huggy Bear being the poster boys for "talent first and only" recruiting. _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me." |

Pretty much means Cinci HAS to appease Chad Johnson somehow now. There's probably not a clear #1 WR anywhere in the draft. _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me." |

I wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos pursue Henry.
Chad Johnson needs to shut the phuck up and play football. |

2008 schedule is out and I'm lovin it. Cleveland has had 1 monday night game in the last 2 seasons and this coming year they have 3 monday night games, 1 Sunday night game and a Thursday night game. I'm not gonna make any crazy predictions but its nice to at least see the Browns be taken seriously now. Although 3 Monday night games is a little excessive, i'm not complaining _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

Yes we did!! I was just talking about that to someone else. Week 4 bye SUCKS bigtime, but that's probably the worst part of our schedule. |

Swass, they play in the worst division. that's why the colts are always real high on the strength of schedule. we play in the best division. colts and jags are numbers 2 and 3 this year. |

um....let's see...
jets suck - play them twice
bills suck - play them twice
dolphins sucks - play them twice
afc west sucks except for san diego - 3 more easy games
when 6 of your games are in your division, and against 3 of the worst teams in the league, you are going to have an easy schedule, no matter who you play ood. |

The Seahawks cut Shaun Alexander. From NFL MVP to the street in two years. Such is the life of an NFL runningback. WOW! |

Hell yeah. Martellus to the Cowboys.

I'm also really pumped about getting Mike Jenkins. I'm not so confident on the Felix Jones pick. Seemed like Jerry might have made a stretch going to his alma matter for this one. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

not huge on the bennett pick from a need standpoint - would have rather seen a wr there, but i'm happy that guy is a cowboy. dude is a walking soundbite and i think he'll be better in the pros than he was in college.
not too sure about taking jones w/ mendenhall on the board, but that's who they wanted all along.
freaking titans....every gd wr still on the board and they take a rb AGAIN. it's like they don't want to win. |

jt09, with Fasano gone I am fine with it from a need standpoint. I really thought they should have gone after a WR too though. We definitely need some youth at the position. But as we've seen year after year there are top WRs available for trade because they can't get along with (insert player or coach). I feel confident Jerry will go out and get a serviceable WR when we need one. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Wakebrad, i just thought we had a chance to go after a big time wr w/ all the picks we had, and i think it's a bigger need than te. fasano can be replaced by any stiff. holla will be better than fasano, but you know what i mean. i hated fasano. |
