Is a 1in bronze thru-hull strainer big enough to supply 3 simer bw85p pumps?Or will it starve one of the pumps?Should I step up to the 1.25in strainer?http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/10001/-1/10001/161611/10001/217/70/11

what size lines are you going to run to the pumps?

I really doubt you'll starve them. I ran 3 off of a 3/4" T

I T'd off of the raw intake, which I think was 1.5" or 1.25" with a 1" T.

I then ran one of the sides of that 1" T to the front Simer and then had another one to the back 2.
I think I even used 3/4" pipes so it might have been down to 3/4" right away and had no issues with starving them.

3 3/4" hoses are the same cross-sectional area as 1 1.3" hose. So, I'd go with 1.25" at least. If you use a smaller one, you won't starve the pumps, but it will take longer to fill. Probably not alot though.
