The sub is a piece of crap and I'm not liking the amp too much either. The amp is a Kicker KX300x4 and the sub is a Kicker Impulse Seires 10M. It is a marine grade sub and it was installed free air at the factory. It may as well not even be in the boat, you can't even hear it even with the amp cranked up. The amp is alright, but I'm not really liking it that much.
I've already removed the factory sub and and installed my JL 10W0 with a Rockford 250x2 amp. It sounds much better but not as good as when the same parts were in my old boat. I'm gonna have to install another sub and maybe a bigger amp.
As far as the other speakers, from what I can tell the 4 rear speakers are tied to the Kicker amp and the 2 fronts just run off the deck. They are kinda lacking in the sound department also. Something will have to be done withthem as well as far as I'm concerned. _________________ Jason
