Well, this is a stupid idea but it could work. As long as the total weight of the vehicle, its engines, and passengers is known, a hull might be able to be made that could float the car. Everything for intake to the engine would have to be above the hood (Hummer Alpha style) and the hood may have to be sealed as well as the rest of the engine. After seeing this http://www.watercar.com/jeep/ I've actually really wanted to do this. A older Wrangler or some other car would go for about $5000 tops on Ebay, and an old jet boat can be grabbed for about a grand. Hydraulic dropping kits aren't that expensive either. This would be almost the ultimate DIY project and it would come out way cheaper than the $50,000 to $150,000 they ask for those watercars. Hmm... _________________
