The only guy that made it was in the RWD Bimmer...
Everyone else appeared to be in 4WD or AWD vehicles.
Just goes to show, it's probably 90% driver 10% equipment.

I was out there this week (got stuck at the hotel and had to wait until thursday to come home)
the roads were just like a sheet of ice... I tried to make it up the hill leaving my hotel on tuesday morning and just slipped all the way back down.
being from chicago and used to driving in the snow, I thought no big deal, but the conditions were certainly worse than I've ever seen before.
That clip is great tho... I understand that part of the city has some MAJOR hills. and the guy that was going down the hill wasn't accellerating on his own... that's just how high the hill was and how slippery it was.

They've been playing that clip on all the local channels several times in succession about every half hour for the last 3 days. That guy/woman is definitely an idiot. Could have ended it after the second collision but decided to go for 3 more.
That hill is VERY steep though. Just a few blocks from my place. My girlfriend's friend was actually the one who filmed all that.
