| My 82 2001 had nasty paint , ugly pen stripes & worn out stickers. I taped off stripe, removed stickers & penstripes with a metal razor & a steady hand. lightly wet sanded & masked original letters, then hand painted with interlux boat paint & a foam brush. I chose to change the 3 stripes into 1 blue stripe. This kind of job looks better than the 24 year old job , but it's only temp. until this winter . Then I want a pro glossy paint job. |

It should look nice after the new paint. That is a nice tower. _________________ I love the smell of napalm in the morning |

DRS1,
Looking smooth!
The single stripe looks far better in my opinion!
Good job.

Which paint did you use from Interlux? The "Perfection" series is supposed to be hard and glossy. Good job though. It looks nice. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| looks good and i agree that the single color stripe looks better. when you paint it this summer you should use some '07 Tige graphics for the sides. |

How does auto paint hold up? I leave my boat in the water for 5 months a year, not sure if it would hold up in my case. I plan on using auto paint from the rub rail up- its the lower part that scares me. |

I appreciate all of the old threads being revived tonight. I missed this one.
drs1, not sure if you're still around here, but nice job on the paint. Looks great. The black Monster tower is sharp too. |
