for that, you really don't need another battery.

Right now, I am running a Phoenix Gold tantrum 500.2, JBL BP1200.1, and a Cadence amp. I only have one battery and have run it for an hour while sitting and have not had a problem. However, I am thinking about a second one because I get paranoid and start it up and run it like every 20 min just to be safe.

well, are you running any subs?? Or is that kicker the only amp you are running??? If that is the only one then I really see no reason.

yea i dont believe u really need a diff. battery...if u wanted another battery to use it just for ur amp, u could get a capicitor to help send more power to the amp from the battery u have already but if ur just worried about it dyin then u dont really need one...i think one battery would b fine
