I picked up a Red Tide ('07 Limited Woody) a few weeks ago. I'm a beginner and a big guy, so I went with the nicest lookin long board out there.
Me and my crew are droolin to get out and try it. I also picked up a Helium rope. All that is left to get is 400 lbs of Pop Bags, then dail in the wake on my B52.
Anybody else out there have a "Woody"?

Sooper Sweeeeet looking board! Let us know how it rides.
BTW: Dialing in the wake on a B52 shouldn't be much trouble.

What is the difference between the woody's and the regular inland surfers???

I am thinking of getting my husband one. He is about 220 and 6'1"...he currently rides a Phase 5 Oogle and has a Walker F-18... I would really like to know what you think of that board....

The woody's are supposed to be limited addition.

My buddy just bought the exact same board in the off season and we have now used it a couple of times and it is bad ass.

hgaugh, I am 6' 220lbs myself and this board works great...that's esentially why we got this board. I have a 2000 MB DD and it still throws a good enough wake to use this board. I almost want to buy one just to put on a wall as a piece of art.

Smaller people may have a harder time starting with this board in the water as it is very bouyant and doesn't like to go under water very easily...but if you can get up on it you can just stand there and do nothing wrong.

We picked up an 2nd limited edition and had a chance to ride it this past weekend and it is fantastic board, everyone that rode it had an ear to ear grin on their face.
