watson or ps3

anyone rode both? or just one? how do they compare to the fish? daddy needs a new board this year. feel free to ramble I want as much info as possible. also where in lake anna can I demo both? don't be shy Wink

Watson. If you manage to get a limited get it. Many people have found them very elusive but you might find a seller on this website. Or, might i suggest the LF Shane. It has soft landings and releases of the wake better. The only problem is that Shane is ridin 2 boards this year, a LF and a Slingshot and i am not sure what his pro models are like for 08. so go for the 07 Shane maybe. Its a sick lookin board and is so tite.
What bindings are you lookin at? I would suggest goin with maybe a hyperlite pair. They make setting up your stance much easier with the clamp style adjusters. I demoed a pair at a camp but I live in the Arctic Wisconsin so im not sure about where you can demo.

They're pretty similar. PS3 is a little faster, rolls onto edge a tad slower. Other than that, you'd hardly notice a difference.

LF_WaKeR, Shane is definitely not riding a slingshot this year. LF came out with the press, a slingshot-esque flex board, which he uses the 136 version of on rails. as for the actual shane board, it's unchanged from 06/07.

eric, the watson is considerably tighter than the PS3, and like stated above a little slower, but has a more vertical pop, where as the PS3 is a little flatter and further out.

I love the PS3, its slick enough to play on, but got plenty of grip to stomp something out. also cooks when you get it on edge. I think it gets pretty good pop too
