well we went to see the premier and the movie was sick.
Basically the premier was at this place called Aloma Cinema Grill, where they serve food and beer while u sit at a table and watch the movie. The layout is ok, but kind of hard to focus on the film.
The movie is sick, from the music to the footage it was amazing. You could really tell that Justin loves his work and puts in a lot of time to make it perfect. The slow-mo camera thingy was just plain sick. Though it did not give the same effect for the wakeboarding tricks, the wakeskating tricks looked soo freaking cool it was unbelivable.
On the other hand sometime i saw places where i would have done more with the footage to match up with the music, but what the hell do i know im no pro video editor just a lil guy who likes to film and edit. Also, i though rewinding clips was considered lame in the editing world =). There is just one scene where a rider lands and its reversed.
As for the skill level, it LF team video so skill there is, but i dont remeber seeing Lymans BS 180 of the 1 wake wash in the video. At one point they go through like 6 riders really fast, im guessing its their B team or something, and the skill level greatly falls from Sovan and Watson and the big dogs, but its still good to see up comming riders.
Final thoughts are that I will probably pick this movie up and enjoy watching the extras and stuff, i bet the slow mo looks hell a cool on a upconverted DVD player and flat screen =)
