my friend owns a ski/wake shop and they stock liquid force, obrien and cwb wakeskates. which wakeskate should i buy?
i am a good skateboarder and wakeboarder so i want to get an advanced board straight up because i think i will progress pretty quickly. _________________ i love lamp. Crikey |

Out of those 3 companies, LF is your best bet. It will fall apart but will be fun for the few times you ride it. Don't go for the Armada though, haven't heard good things about it. And also, don' get all giddy about skateboarding, the two aren't really very a like, other than balance. _________________ Take off you hoser |

ridehatzic, Most of my friends who are good at skateboarding pick up wakeskating way faster than those who aren't. I progressed slow because I had no technical board control skills. Skateboarding will help more than your balance, guarantee it.
wake_quake, You can pretty much dismiss CWB or Obrien's existence in wakeskating, their skates are terrible, honestly they don't even try. LF has a good selection, but I've heard some downsides as far as durability goes, so if you get one, your probly gonna end up getting 3 or 4 _________________ ...island style... |

Is ronix going to come out with a wakeskate?
I have a hyperlite Karma, and a hyperlite catalyst, and a hyperlite scape. I love them all. I have become a wakeskating fanatic because it cost less than a really good wakeboard set up, i dont need a huge wake, falls hurt less, and i feel like i have been reborn in the sport of wakeboarding.
LF is the best out of the ones you have given for options _________________ check it out http://www.wakesiderides.com/rides/index.php?page=out&id=1562 |

| At Ronix's amassault this past weekend at the projects paul obrien said that wakeskates were a good possibility for 2008's line. |

Thats good to hear. I like the work track record of paul obrien and his skills. I can't wait for the 08 wakeskates. Hopefully they will help push wakeskating to its first 540 or something like Ronix has pushed wakeboarding to the next level...if you live in a hut without exposure to wakeboarding danny harf landed the first switch heelside 1080. _________________ check it out http://www.wakesiderides.com/rides/index.php?page=out&id=1562 |

Sink-its pretty clear that there is a reason danny landed the 1080 on his new board as opposed to what he used to be riding. What do you have that shows that his riding hasnt changed because of a new board.
senor-didnt know that a 5 had been landed on a wakeskate. I know there are lots of good companies out there. Im just looking forward to seeing what ronix brings to the table _________________ check it out http://www.wakesiderides.com/rides/index.php?page=out&id=1562 |

wakemitch, I've been spinning better switch lately, so I haven't got one regular footed yet, but those aren't too far out. I'm thinking w2w bs 5 _________________ ...island style... |

deepcove they said that danny's ronix setup was 5-6 lbs lighter than his HL setup. 5-6 lbs is a lot if you ask me.... _________________ when your going through hell, keep going - w. churchill |

| I heard that Ronix is coming out with a wakeskate that is like the roam. BUT then they have to 'covenant' board so I'm not believing him anymore. they already kept the 'roam'.... so why do they need it on a wakeskate? |
