Hey everyone,
This is a bit of a long question but i was wondering what i should do now with my wakeboarding. At the moment i can comfortable clear the wake from both sides, can ride switch sorta okay, i can do most grabs ie; Nose, Tail, Indy, Method, ect. I can land a Tantrum about 40% of the time...
On a trampoline i can do alot of flip tricks like Backflip, Frontflip, 180 BackFlip, 180 Front, Back 3's, Front 3's and Back 5's.
I was wondering what should i begin to start trying on my wakeboard. Keeping in mind for some reason i cant land any 180's or 360's....
Should i practice trampolineing with a rope to learn the handle pass for those tricks or what?
Please help... (also an order of tricks from easiest to hardest would come in hand) |

Wake_Tramp_Ricky, Firstoff welcome to the site.
-Feel free to try them on a wakeboard but nothing will be as easy because keep in mind you need to hit the wake with the right balance in the air and have enough height to do most of them. You are also being pulled which means harder passes. Also, many flips involve "tripping" yourself over the wake to start the flip and that takes a bit of getting used to.
-Keep practicing with the handle as it is very good for muscle memory.
Good luck. _________________

deffinatly train with a handle...but if youre like doing 3's be able to do a 7 on a tramp. you want a list of tricks....
are you right or left foot forward?
im left foot forward...my easiest trick is like a frontroll (off a kicker) i dont ride much boat. but im assumming youre right foot forward since youre already doing tantrums. i reccomend getting more board control if you wanna try bigger tricks.
master these and youll be doin ok...
w2w 180 (front and backside maybe even to blind or w/e switch it up)...easy
w2w fs 360
w2w bs 360
backroll
frontroll
scarecrow = frontroll w/fs 180
tantrum
whirlybird = tantrum + 180
whirly 5
crow mobe = frontroll w/fs 360
thats enough for now...but yeahh keep it up...ITS ALL ABOUT board control bro...
get a feel for it.

whirlys on a tramp are funner than hell when you start getting them. you have to jump really high for them. and at first they're really scary. make sure the rope is fairly tight. since no boat is providing tension...duh _________________ well, i did have over 800 posts.. formerly natman |

| liquid_force24, are you sure you aren't doing a tantrum and think its a whirly. I know a lot of people who swear to me they are spinning in the air when they are not. This is just a little hard to believe, a whirly with no tanny, that is way beyond running before you can crawl. I mean i have done weird things like learning a pete rose without doing a ts roll to revert, but i know i could probably do a toeside roll to retard first try, i was just more interested in learning a pete, but i knew how to do ts backrolls, lol |

SANTE210TEAM, What really doesn't make sense is that liquid_force24 is doing whirleys, without tantrums. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't whirlies tantrums with a 360? _________________ 04 LF Trip 133

| LFPIMP, thats what i was saying, i have a feeling that his "whirly" is probably just a bent out of shape looking tantrum. |
