I was hoping you guys could give me some insight on my dilemma.

I have built a few small sliders and kickers in the past couple years and I've always used really old finless board to hit them with.

This board has pretty much had it, and I want to get a new board for sliders, however I want something that I can do wake tricks with as well because the finless was way too slippery.

My question is are all the new boards pretty solid on traction with just their moulded fins? Or should I be looking at specific boards for good traction with just moulded fins?

If anyone has a board that they are willing to sell I'm open for options.

thanks

What I mean by all the new boards should probably be more specific.

I am looking at hyperlites between 05-06.

I currently have a Byerly 137, the year that it was yellow on top, I would guess 02.
are the moulded fins on the newer boards much different from the ones on mine?

thanks

The premier is not to loose with just the moulded fins and the newer ones have that sidewall thats suppose to be more durable for sliders. Although I've only ridden the pre-2005 premiers

I would suggest keeping the finless board and demo-ing a board you think would suit your wake-riding style.
