I have been reading some of the forums on using trampolines for practicing, I want to buy a trampoline for my son and I for Christmas, but I dont want to spend the family's savings needlessly. I have a couple questions for anyone with exerience in this matter. Here they are:
1. what is the ideal size and shape? Round v.s. square, rectangle, octogon, ect....
2. Will a cheap brand be suficient? I have seen them anywhere from $299. to $2500. in wallmart, costco, sporting good stores, and on line. I dont want to spend a lot of money if I dont have to. Can anyone sugest a store/brand name.
Thanks, I appreciate any helpful replies. |

| do tramps REALLY help that much? i mean it cant be anything like being pulled 21mph. There is no load in the line at all. Is it just a since of upside down awareness/handlepass help? |

i would just get one at wal mart or something, i have been doing a lot of research too and you know how they say that the squared ones are better and safer, but as long as you dont screw around on them and as long as you take your tricks straight up in the air, then a circle one should be just fine, but i would get the biggest one you could find
along with making sure you take your tricks straight up, i was doing some backflips on my friends tramp(which is a 16ft circle one) and i have been doing them for a while but i had a little mess up, when i did my backflip i kinda jumped back, causing me to shot back and over rotate, i landed on my feet near the edge but i was outta contrl, fell back and landed on the pole right on my back, is was scared that i was going to paralyze myself which equals no more wakeboarding which equals and i want a tramp but after that i was beginging to question it, so you gotta be really carefull on those mugs, but other than that they are tons of fun |

IMO it's not worth spending a couple grand for one. Just get a normal round one. I got a 15' at Sams for under $200. That was the biggest I could find at a reasonable price. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |
