whats the trick to doing this?
i can get the handle in my back hand and start to do the spin but i cant quite get the full 3

Learn them on the trampoline if you can. I think they are harder on the tramp because there is no line tension. That being said, when you do it behind the boat use the line tension to your advantage. After you get the handle pass start to pull on the handle and bring it in front of your body. It will feel the same as a normal bs 3.
