You might want to have gotten a longer board, but it's a good board. What's your price range for the bindings?

its going to give you more support and board control but you really don't need anything that extensive at the begginer level maybe something middle to upper end of the road like a transit or something, but with bindings, you definately get the support and comfort you pay for, so as long as you dont cheap out i think youll be just fine my man

You should look into the CWB Torq's for bindings. http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_142&products_id=1307

id say watsons would be a good choice of binders. and the 133 is great for you cause you ride teh fish 10cm's shorter than a regular board. u prolly already knew that but Justin 25's comment kindof contradicted the point of a fish. never ridden on myself but id like to.

Umm..the fish 133 is a board which is really wide so it is really like 143. you ll be alright, but i really wouldnt call it a biginner board. Its kinda weird...not as forgiving..as a normal board...but it is a awesome board with nice pop and soft landings because of that spine...but its a personal thing.

You might struggle with that board at first. It's pretty easy to catch an edge on it till you get the feel. Once you get ridding you will love it. It's very easy to control and I think it's pretty forgiving, and has nice soft landings!

The only thing about the short/wide set up on the fish is when you start doing inverts, you don't have as much behind your foot to catch. Everytime I attempt a new invert i slip out the back end a ton because there isn't as much hanging off the side of your foot. Make sense?

I think that makes a difference in more than just inverts, and one of the reasons I'm upgrading my Fish.
