| Anyone compete in the Fort Fremont/Hyperlite Tournaments?? I see the dates are set for the 2006 season. I'm looking for some information on the rest. What are the event classes and what are the abilities for each? How much are entry fees? Any info is greatly appreciated.... |

Hell yea, Unfortunately our lakes and rivers are still covered in a foot and a half of ice and cluttered with tiny villages of ice shanties...... but I'm keeping the faith.

I would say that Wausau area and Stevens Point, are Central Wisconsin, but Lake Wisconsin is fairly close, just a little more Southern Wisconsin. Although, the Wisconsin River runs through Wausau, Stevens Point, and is part of Lake Wisconsin....
There used to be a slider park at a private lake in Central Wisconsin, but that went under...It's too bad, because it was actually pretty fun...

everything is still there... a bunch of people just need to get together and find a way to make it work, and it was more of a puddle then a lake... if we are talking about the place off I-39 in Hancock....

Yeah Phat Pond was SWEET!! I contacted one of the owners about purchasing the sliders from him 2 years ago. We even went back to PP and checked the conditions of the sliders (not so great anymore). When I called the guy back and made my offer, he was like, NO thanks, I will let the place sit... (this was NOT Grant, the guy that was there everyday, but another guy that put up some of the money). So, no deal...

| I'm in stevens point and go to school in rapids in the fall. I need to find someone to ride with until I get out of school and purchase a boat of my own. |
