|
|
| Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew if CWB made a clip for the laces or if anyone had a better remedy for the laces slapping around besides tucking them in. Thanks. |

Haha, a question i can answer!
well, whatever you do, don't put them behind your binding or they will get inside them and rub aginst your leg and give you major rash.
but i just led them ride in the fron, they don't tend to bother me that much
what exactly are you doing with them right now? |

| I did the same thing and stuck them inside the boot and it rubbed a giant gash in my leg. I was hoping that CWB made an attachment that would clip the laces out of the way but they have not responded to my email. |

| i guess if all else fails, you can use a paperclip or just something around the house to hold it together, maybe a little peice of yarn or something might work. |

maxpowers1112, they just made something on the 07 zeus's that has it zip up the laces as it goes. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

| As dave says there's an elastic loop behind each binding, Put the laces through there that'll hold them. |

maxpowers1112, I would have responded, but they answered your question. Elastic loop, pull, tuck, done.
The 07 Torq is the same thing. You have to move up to the Faction/Fuse/Deuce level to get the lace holder. _________________

| Since I like to be able to get out and not fumble with the elastic loop I shortened my laces on my Zeus significantly. I opened them as far as I could and marked the spot and then cut the buggers. They come retardedly long from the factory and after doing this they almost touch the board when cinched. Just enough. |

| It's also a good idea to have an extra pair of laces handy. Nothing ruins a good day like a busted boot. CWB will ship them to you no questions asked. I keep an extra loop in my board shorts pockets. Aside from that the CWB boots are fricken indestructible IMO. I've been brutalizing my Zeus for over a year now and they are in great shape considering the amount of time they spend in the sun/banging around my trunk. The 2007 gear looks siiick. |

| I got a pair of liquid force lace holders and put them on. Even with my laces shortened, they are too long for comfort. I've gotten my hand caught in the laces on a grab before. Not good. |
