Hey well I've been wakeboarding for close to five years now, and looking to start wakeskating. I'm confused as to the size of board I should get, and also would you recommend the grip tape versions or the foam ones?

I'm 6'0 and weigh between 150-160. Haha, I fluctuate in weight like hell since I'm at college still. Not sure if this matters, but the wakeboard I ride right now is a Trip 138, but I'm pretty sure I could ride a 136 if I wanted. Anyway, let me know guys!

this is what I looked at first http://www.wakeside.com/page/W/CTGY/wakeskate_size

I like griptape because its more grippy, dont let anyone trick you into the "get the foam because when it hits u when your tryin new tricks it doesn't hurt" If you ride foam when you go up to higher level skates it will be grip and you will not be used to it.

Jmass03, Height and weight don't really matter, it's all personal preference. I'm 5'10 and I ride a 39 and my girlfriend is pretty small and she rides a 43. Just go to OWC and ask some kids if you can try their skates and find out what sizes you like best and feel most comfortable with.
