I was down my barn the other day and found a big piece of PVC pipe. It slapped me Bubb Rubb INDO BOARD MAN, use my wakeboard so I built it.
It’s but setting in the barn for so long it got mud in it from the rain. It’s a 4.5inches from outside to outside. It’s about a 1/4in wall. I got a rug from form wal-mart or dollar store with a rubber back side so the glue sticks. i just cut the PVC the length and glued it around it and BAM got a roller. Be sure to cut off the extra rug after it all the way around.
The rug will work better if you get the really short stuff, it rolls better and easier then with normal carpet. Rolling on a hard surface is hard then rolling on a carpet or bigger rug.

good idea, mine is a 6 1/2" dia. pvc pipe and a 1x 8 plank of pine. no carpet though its harder=better. really helps with balance with a larger dia. _________________ North Wylie Riders |

Haha, never thought about using pvc. I'm suprised that wasn't the first thing to come to mind. I used a 2 liter bottle that i filled to the very top with water, then took a roll of duct tape and TIGHTLY wrapped the whole bottle to keep it from exploding. Used the thing nearly every day for a year, and it never broke on me. Oh and i just used an old skate deck. _________________ "What? When did the ballast break?
