What do you guys think of running a 125 outboard with some fat sacks in the back, or running two smaller outboard engines with fat sacks in the back?

It doesn't much matter.
I used to wakeboard behind a pontoon, and then an 11' fishing boat with a 15 horse engine.
I'd go for the one bigger engine than two smaller. |

I'd kill for a 125. I ride behind an 85hp right now and it gets the job done. _________________ But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions -- it is by grace you have been saved.

Like Robert Harp said, go for the single engine. I have a twin engine boat, and I love it, but I think the wake gets more washed out in the middle than single engine boats. That's still a theory, so take it for what it's worth. _________________ Whoever coined the term "Near Beer" was a very poor judge of distance... |

IceBreaker119, people have boarded behind much less horsepower. But the one prop will be better than the other two. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

i ride behind a 90 outboard so fat sacs could work unless yourboat has a tower and is less than 20 feet its not a good idea

one prop or a better boat. if you have the finances you can get a 95 master craft inboard for like 18k. not bad. i saw one with tower speakers and racks. _________________ Don't Let Me In Your Boat

yah man one engine for sure. Two is twice the gas n twice the wash. And even bigger boats can struggle..My Buddies 06 glastron Gs 205 with tower n 180Hp Motor stuggles bigtime when it's loaded with people and trying to tow me out of the water. for some reason it's not very powerful on the takeoff _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

| yeah i agree one is good. if u get a tower i think an outboard would be cool fat sacks would be cool as long as the wake doesn't like brake i see nothing wrong. |
