i cant get a tower

i was going to et a tower for my dads boat but he talked to the person he bought i t from and they said that we cant get one because the boat is an outboard and it is to old of a model ( 11 yrs ) larson sei 174 and said something about the center of gravity stuff and now i cant get one and i was wondering id anyone has a tower with an older boat with an outboard engine

You can get one. It depends on how tall the tower will be, and how wide the boat is. Also with an older boat the fiberglass may have to be reinforced.

The person your dad bought your boat from is a moron. There's a 9 year old sei on this page with a tower on it. Click on Larson.

actually that picture of that larson with the tower looks identicle to the one that i ride behind that guy he bought the boat from is definately a moron Evil or Very Mad

I have a 94 prostar with a tower which was not installed from the factory. My boats 12 yrs old.

PimpinD2, If I'm thinking of the right boat, yours is an inboard. His is an outboard. It's more 'natural' (couldn't think how to say it) for an inboard to have one.

Natural or not, the boat was not designed with the idea of a tower. Therefore its the same.

PimpinD2, ah. well seeing his boat I'd go a 'fly-high' (I think that's what they're called) pole rather than a tower. cheaper and I think they look better on an outboard.

actualy i was going to get a monster tower but then i found out there was a fligh high monkeybar for $300 i was going to get it but my dad won't let me put it on his boat because of what that guy said
