Well, September and October have been beautiful. But today was our coolest day of the fall so far. Air temp high was around 68. Fortunately the water temps are still 80. It was COLD when you got out of the water. Probably time to break out the wetsuit before much longer. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

Your a lucky guy to have 68 degree air, and 80 degree water.
I went out friday, 60 degree air, 58 degree water. I had a wetsuit tho.
I have been thinking about transfering to a college in south carolina next year, not sure which one, what month do people stop wakeboarding down there? Keep in mind I'm from northern Massachusetts and I ride through October and into the first week of November.

wakeboardin2k4,
I'm not sure when "people" stop wakeboarding. I know my bros and I are crazy ass mofos and plan to ride as long as we can. I suppose with the right gear you could ride year round, but I'm not planning on getting in that water in January or February.
You're thinking about transferring to a college but not sure which one? Might as well make it USCB Hilton Head. The rest of the big schools are in the central and upstate. Hell, it snows up there. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

HHI Dave,
Thats cool that people ride year round. I'm looking to transfer to a school far enough south that I can ride atleast 10 months a year. If I like the area and being in the south ((which can be hard for some northerners, especially us stubborn bostonians)) I may consider staying there when Im finished with school.
Another school I am looking at is Texas State, and the University of Florida in Orlando. _________________ check it out http://www.wakesiderides.com/rides/index.php?page=out&id=1562 |

Too cold even with a wetsuit? I haven't worn mine yet, but I'm sure I will soon.
I also just ordered this from The House. The price was just too good to pass up and it should work well until a full suit is really needed. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

HHI Dave, probably not too cold even for a wet suit...but i currently don't own one. It kind of sucks because this week it was 80 on the weekday and this weekend it was about 55, and other weekends it's been 50. z32f4i, We went out Saturday and Sunday. It was actually sprinkling a little on Sunday when I was gassing up the boat. It cleared up a little while we were on the water though. This weekend is supposed to be pretty nice.
Where do you ride in Beaufort? _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

| Dave, I usually ride in the Beaufort river behind the Pigeon Point and Air Station area. Pretty long straight away that is usually calm and not too many boats that pass through. I ordered that wetsuit top and it should be in friday. |
