im looking at a 2000 air with a 275 pcm. does that motor have the power to pull with a loaded boat full of people? are the any problems with this motor?

Yeah, double check that '275'. I would think they would've offered at least 300 hp like everyone else was in 2000.

I believe there was a standard engine Nautique offered that was throttle body injection at 275 HP. Very few boats ever came with this as most were the GT-40 or more. It's usually only found on boats that were special order and trying to keep costs down. The 275 will have adequate power for the boat along with a few people and some ballast - don't expect to run 2000+ lbs. and get on plane very well. The other problem running a lot of weight is the engine may get you up to speed, but maintaining that speed is very difficult (with or without Perfect Pass).
