I'm new to all this wakeboarding stuff so please bare with me. My friend has a 1988 Master Craft ProStar 190 and I was wondering if it would produce enough wake to get me some mad air? or at least enough air to do tricks? I dont care if I am a beginner I want air |

It won't give you a ton of air, but it will work for a beginner. It also depends on the board too. You MIGHT be able to do some inverts, but more than likely just some spins... but that'll take a long while to learn. Just stick with the basics for now. _________________ If my above post offends you in any way, simply ignore it. If you do not know how to ignore it, complain to me in a PM and I will show you how. |

it depends on your balance a lot too. if you have good balance and good board control you should be able to do a 180 fairly easy _________________ Theres a fine line between bravery and stupidity-Johnny Knoxville |

I would highly recommend working on the basics...I went and jumped right into trying tricks before learning the basics which makes everything harder. The basics are key to any trick and it is harder to learn the basics later. Since you are new, once you feel comfortable on the board, i would recommend trying to ride switch just as much as you ride regular. This will allow for switch to feel almost as natural as riding your normal way. It will make it much easier doing tricks later...Not to mention it adds a lot of style points when your switch looks just as comfortable and natural as your regular stance. _________________ A successful person is a dreamer who someone believed in |
