This is on the INT league for Novice.

What exactly is a buttslide?

I suspect it is just a HS slide (turned open like a skier) with your butt touching the water....

You sure its not "Butterslide" you're talking about ?

If so:

You are correct its a HS slide "Turned open like a skier" but you basicly do it on one of the waves, ontop of it. Its easy and looks pretty cool, imo

maybe it's an abbreviation, a mis-spelling, or what the cool kids call it, but ...

http://www.intleague.com/divisions/wbtrick-all.html

clearly states "buttslide"

Maybe it's when your butt is touching the water on a butterslide?

no.. no.. its for sure a buttslide... its a move perfected long ago by myself and others of supreme wake-greatness. its kinda like when you suck complete a$$ and fall on ur butt. only you do it super gracefully and at high speed out in the flats. i.e. carve out away from the wake like crazy raley progressive style and drop it like its hot so you drag serious a$$ and stand back up with a hellz yeah or rock on sign. when perfected it can become a crowd pleaser alongside moves such as the stylish fashion air, the look back(taken from motoX), as well as the wave to the judges. if possible do it with a h.o. skurfer with a 12" surf style fin attached and sandle bindings and a safety orange life vest. that setup really compliments the true sweetness of these types of rad moves. if you'd like to learn more watch the hyperlite vhs wake101 it also teaches you moves like the heli(now known as the 360). if you think i'm kidding go watch it. oh yeah and rocking a sweatband or fro usually helps too. Rolling Eyes please disregard all previous statements preceding this sentence. Razz seriously.

Laughing Laughing "Adjust Board Shorts | Novice | 60 pts"

This bracket is right up my alley. They have a 35+ old man category?

The Buttslide is in the same category with the "Get up on the Wakeboard for 50pts". I bet a hard heelside cut with an a$$drag would count. My wife is good at these.
