yeah, conditions are so unpredictable in poole - we're having to do the dawn patrol a lot at the moment which is a killer!
I have family in the midlands and I've been meaning to head up to Tamworth and check out ten-80...getting kinda late in the season now, but am thinking about investing in a winter wetsuit and trying to brave out the freezing conditions! |

that's a mighty fine idea! Might invest in some serious layers...gloves, hat, boots....too!
Hey, I'm setting up a website for UK riders - to provide one comprehensive source of info for events, clinics, places to ride, tips etc...and a dedicated chick section. do you reckon it's a good idea? Is there anything you would want to see / find on it? |

windandwake, I think it's a great idea. I lived in London for 2 years and didn't ride once the whole time cuz I wasn't aware of the fact that there were even places for me to go! I didn't find out until just before I moved back to Canada |

Hey guys - thanx heaps for that...it's a mare isn't it...I've spent ages getting frustrated looking for places to go wakey and find girlies to hook up with...so thought I'd set up a site myself...might take a little while to get off the ground though...so keep any ideas coming! |

Take care. |

Hey there, I've riden at Princes too, haven't tried Thorpe or Grendon yet - am completely rubbish at the cable ski though - soooo need more practise! I don't seem to be progressing much at the moment either - have been out quite a lot this season but I'm sure I'm getting worse!
Am on the list for the Whirly Birds and apparantly the new season schedule will be sorted in the next month...roll on 2007! |

We had our first meeting last night. Have loads of cool plans for next year. Dates will not be released until early next year because we have to wait for everyone else to release their dates so we dont clash with competitions etc.
We are going to be doing something a bit further up North, try and get Storm again - maybe try for 2 there, Grendon. Doing juniors, mens, kickers and sliders. Going to Cabwake.
So excited! Lots to do! |

Hey, think I've just replied to you via email after your posting on wakechat re Cabwake! (Caroline!) I've just booked Cabwake for a week at the end of November - so excited - but would love to go again next year depending on the price - do you get better deals for groups?
Sounds like next year is going to be fantastic - if you need any help organising anything on the South Coast let me know - I have an events company so do give me a shout...would love to see more to do down here - although we're a bit limited on lakes and the harbour is a tad unpredicatable...but there are a few good spots! |
