has anyone ever tried wakeskating with a skateboard deck. i wanna try it cuz it would be looser and real narrow. im gonna try to do a sitting dockstart and go about 30 to keep me up.

tried it deep water and got up once.. its EXTREMELY hard. Feels like slolom skiing while you get up, cant see a thing. didnt stay up long either.

that is so strange. i had this exact thought last night. my cousin has a few old decks and said he would bring one next time he comes out. i think you would have to dock start for the ease of it. deep water start would be tough.

thought about it, seems really hard tho, like if you managed to get up you would be sinking, speeds would have to be increased

Dock starting would be the way to go.

my friend did it off a dock where he rested the board on the trucks without screws and put a low piece of wood at the end of the dock and they towed him down the dock and when he hit the wood the deck came off and he skated on the deck in the water for a few feet, then he fell

I put my wakeskate on top of a longboard and dockstarted like that once.

i tried using a skate board (deep water start) tried about 6-7 times then gave up because it is nearly impossible to get up
