You most likely won't, jet skis don't produce the greatest wakes. I'm not the most knowledgable on them so I suggest waiting for someone who knows more about jet skis and their wakes to answer.

Are you using a progressive edge?

basically, the closer you get to the wake, the sharper you turn, until you're almost perpendicular to the wake..

somebody here will find the link for you.

I ride behind a Kawasaki Jetskit STX 15f. It's a three seater. The only time we get any real wake behind the thing is when we have an adult driver and adult spotter. Even then, it's not really a sizable wake like a good wakeboard boat would make. It's alot of fun riding behind the Jetski, but there isn't as much wake, not as much room to get the board on (I actually just put the board on in the water now), and you "pull" the Jetski quite a bit when edging hard.

Overall, the STX is a great boat to learn to ride, but if you want air, you gotta ride behind a bigger boat.

Yeah if it's a regulary jetski I highly doubt you're getting three feet of air.

((contemplates wakeskate for son))

What makes 'skates good for Jetskis? How hard are they for beginners, that have ridden a wakeboard?

Deyeme, If you've ridden a wakeboard, you should be able to skate no problem. It'll take a few rides to get used to not being strapped in. also, skates are super loose, so it teaches you to edge properly. You'll have a ton of fun learning to allie higher and higher, and then start trying tricks and grabs and all.

3-foot ollies?! Any secrets you guys want to share with us mere mortals on that one? Do you weigh 120 lbs, because my 190 lb-@ss cannot pull more than a foot on an ollie.

pet575, really slam the tail of the board down into the water, and it makes a ramp out of the water. suck your legs up when you jump. I practice trying to clear cat-tail and reeds, cause they don't hurt if you don't clear it
