The Marius is a Trevor Hanson board by O'Brien. You can go smaller but I don't think it's realy recomended. Same with the new Hyperlite Imperial. _________________ In God We Trust

certain boards are built, like the Fish, with performance "full" and performance "fun" shapes.
These are designed so you can ride them shorter to decrease the swing weight and still get good pop characteristics of a larger board. Although it comes down to personal feel, you can ride it regular size and get even more pop, or ride a bit shorter and lower your swing wieght.
BASICALY there made wider to give you the same pop characteristics as a longer board w/ less swing weight |

I have a Marius 140 and to be honest it doesnt really feel as big as you would think. I rode a CWB Sol 139 and a Motive 140 before I got my sweet baby! It is wider, yet it doesn't feel awkward or too long because of its width. I wouldn't mind the 134 since I like the white background on the top, but who gives a crap about aesthetics not to mention I'm 6'3". I looove my Mariucci!! Just don't get Deuce bindings....buy the Torq's! There cheaper, have a better fit, and the Hinge thing is gangsta! _________________ "Per Aspera Ad Astra" |

It's not true because the board is really slow. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

it's "really slow" when just cruisin' out in the flats. once you put it on edge, it really goes! _________________ my demo reel
