Peoria, IL

Hey what's up,

So I found out I'll be moving to Peoria IL at the end of January 07. Are there riders up there who get an early start on the season?

Late March is bearable here in Kansas, I assume this is also the case up there. Are there good places to ride (I know the river and lake Peoria is right there) My job has me moving up there temporarily (Jan through end of April), and I will be definitely looking to hook up with people to ride.

I don't have a boat (still working towards that). I'm 25, male, a very good third (gas money, boat driving, towing, trailer backing, beer, food, boat matinence, etc). I am an intermediate/advanced level rider (all basic inverts, grabs, spins up to 3's, working on 5's and whirlybird).

I am currently nursing a torn rotator cuff back to health and will be very eager to hit the water come next spring. Reply or PM me if your from the area and would be willing to hook up with a new rider or just have general wake info.

I ride a couple hours south of there, and will probably have my own inboard early next season. There's a lot of riders up there too, get ahold of extreme power sports in greenville, il.

Lake Clinton is a little over an hour east of you. That's where I go and there are several other that do as well. Search the find a pull page. You may have to dig for it a little bit but there is an Illinois post with quite a few people who use that lake.
