I just bought a boat and was wonderin how you go about running wires through the tower. It's an extreme tower, that folds forward for storage so there is no continuos piping from the bottom to the top. it has a pivot point up front and a big locking screw in the back. the tower is basically 2 pieces.

not sure what your tawer looks like but basically you will need to get an electritian's fish tape, drill the hole and use the fish tape to pull the wires back out the hole. A fish tape is basically a flat wire that is made of a very stiff metal. It can be "pushed" from one end to the other. When you get the fish tape to the other end you tape the speaker wires to it and pull it back out. As for the two piece tower, if you cannot make a continous "pull" of wire from base to tip you will have to come out of one pipe leaving enough slack for the pivot and go back in to the upper pipe. I hope this helps. I'll try to attatch some pics of my tower when I can.

Don't forget to insert a grommit at the holes. It's not a bad idea to heatshrink the wires at the friction points (hinges, the holes drillled for the grommits etc).

use a small piece of string with a screw or small washer and use a magnet to drag it down.

you can also create a vacum witha shop vac and suck it thru.

IMO the fishtape is the easiest though.
