|
|
| i was out riding the other day, and i tried a move that i've been thinking about all winter. i do a nose grab front to fakie, but at the last second rewind it back to regular so it ends up looking like a really boned out nose grab front, kind of like an indy shifty, except frontside, and while i'm doin a front. i haven't seen anyone ever do it before, and i was just wondering if anyone else has heard or seen anything like that. if not, i think i wanna make a good name for it. anyway, let me know. |

kwoehler, you talking about a ts frontroll to fakie rewind or a hs frontflip to fakie rewind?
Because the frontroll to fakie rewind is already named "elephant." _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Ummm... Did you land that? Looks to me like the trick is from one bit of footage, with the landing from somewhere else
But yeah, looks to me like and elephant... Not 100% though |

an elephant? you're serious?
while i have no doubt that he landed the trick (see link for proof of skills), i think he may have accidently sequenced the wrong landing pic in. pretty easy mistake to make; other than the chopped off trees, it looks pretty fluid

Fakie is riding switch.
That looks sick. I was going to say Lyman does them but his are totally different. He approaches HS, gets pop, rotates 180 to TS edge, grabs slob & drops a TS front Roll, reverts to HS edge, Lands. -Boat Cheers- I think he does them in both Butter effect & Such is life but I will need to check to be sure. _________________ Niiiiiiiiice |

| naw, that last pic is from the same trick, it's just that the tower got in the video footage, that frame is when they swung the shot just to the other side of the tower, and we had just turned the corner a second ago, so the point that we just went around is a lot closer than what you see in the background of the rest of the sequence. i've got a demo with that on it, but i haven't found a place that i can get it online yet, its way to big for wakepics, and i don't know how to compress it so all i have are the sequences... but thanks for the props jflo and jv. later. |
