I am thinking of buying this Mastercraft x-30. The boat is a 2004 has MCX engine two optima batteries with over sized alternator, perfect pass, bimini, full cover and tower cover, fiberglass swim deck, polk momo speakers inside, and skylon defcon IV speakers on the tower, kicker sub, and two kicker amps, built in ballast system the boat has about 150 hours boat is in great shape must sell need to down grade. reduced price 51,000
Do you think this is a good deal? The boat has 150 hours.... Will it last 10 years?? How many hours could I expect out of the engine? I would like your guys opinions about the value and lifespan of this boat. |

I dont know about the one you're talking about but for comparisons sake there is an 03 with 400 hours and a teak deck on it w/galvanized trailer for $39,000 down here in Texas.
Search on http://www.yachtworld.com its more accurate than boattrader.com _________________ Imagination is everything, it is the preview of life's coming attractions. |

I think the price sounds a bit high. I bought an 02 X-30 w 150 hours earlier this year and paid $41K. Go to nada.com and you get get a good feel for the price range you should be in. Remeber that on this boat, certain items are standard and you should not select them as an option on nada (ballast, tower, tower racks) but others are options (speakers, light, perfect pass). Also, a trailer is included in the nada price.
If you take good care of the boat and it does not already have any major issues due to neglect or otehrwise, it should last 10+ more years. |
