| I have a set of 06 State bindings on my board right now while my 06 Drive bindings are in for repair. They are very comfortable, have good support, and seem to be well built, but I've only ridden them a half dozen times so for so I cant really speak for durability. |

I own a pair of State 06, I think they are completely different from the 2005...
My 2006 are comfortable, a bit on the narrow (mine are standard, ok for me. My friend feet hurt in them).
The opening to get in is not as large as other bindings, there is support for the heel and there is a material layer, a bit like neoprene inside of the bindings, it not like regular rubber. I am a bit worried of the durability of this material because I suspect it to wear a bit like a regular pair of shoes. |

i have tried a pair of 05 state boots (while riding.. not in a store) and they seemed to have alot of sopport but at the same time, they were durable. My feet didnt hurt, for the time i was riding it... so they were comftorble to me. Since its 2006, you could get the 05 states for cheap..... if you are looking for a cheaper set of boots with quality... you should go with the states. _________________ Anthony. C |

I have a pair of 2005 State bindings and really do not like them. They do not cinch down tightly and do not offer great support. The velcro straps don't really do a whole lot, they could use a separate set of ankle laces instead. Also, they don't release at all in spills and are hard to take off, even though they are easy to get into. No heel hold at all.
They were my first set of bidings and I immediately upgraded to 2006 Watsons when they came out. So much happier, though the durability of the Watsons is suspect.
I now keep the States on hand for noobs and boardless riders. |
